Admission is free to the museum for both adults and children although there are charges for some of the special exhibitions and events.
The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 17:45 and stays open late until 22:00 every Friday. The museum is closed the 24th to the 26th of December.

The museum offers a wide selection of food and drink in their Cafe, the world’s oldest museum restaurant. Weather permitting you can dine al fresco in their stunning Garden Cafe. The Museum has recreated Queen Victoria’s afternoon tea and is available by reservation on Sundays between 3 and 5PM.
The Ambassadors Hotel is one of the more ideally located hotels near The Victoria And Albert Museum. It is only a 15 minute walk from The Hotel via Cromwell Road. Alternatively it is less than a 5 minute car journey and would cost an average of £8 in a taxi.
